Hello Support Team,

We have purchased a Total Access 600R router to configure 3 T1 lines on the router but we are finding some of the issues while accessing the router. Kindly let us know below information so that we can proceed to further configuration.

  1. How we can console this device? As we tried by accessing from normal console cable to connecting craft port using the below details.

Rate: 9600
Data Bits: 8
Parity: None
Stop Bit: 1
Flow Control: None

  1. Please let us now if device have any default IP address to access the GUI.
  2. We need to terminate 3 T1 lines on the Adtran router and forward the traffic on our CISCO Meraki firewall device, so please let us know how we can achieve this?

The COM port settings are correct, but ADTRAN uses a proprietary pin out assignment, and other vendor's adaptors will not work without proper rewiring. You can view the pin-outs here: Connecting a PC Terminal Console to the RJ-45 Control-In, Chain-In or Craft port of an ADTRAN?

The default IP address on the TA 600R is 10.0.0.1 /24

The TA 600R will only terminate 1 T1 using PPP, Frame Relay, or HDLC encapsulation. You can view a configuration video guide here: Video Link : 1034

I hope this answers your questions,

Patrick
