Radius authorization on the TA 600 Series

Jump to solution

I'm working on deploying a centralized AAA scheme.  We've a working Radius server, and I've been able to authenticate OK to it.  When I've logging in though, I've Full access to the TA 600.

Is there a way to assign Telnet User Levels through Radius to restrict some users to only a subset of commands?

I'm afraid the Radius implementation on the TA600s only allows for authentication as pass/fail.

The only way to set up access levels is through the local user list (for telnet access) and not through Radius.

Thank you,

Patrick

Thanks, Patrick. That’s what I figured, but I wanted confirmation.
