I have a 2nd hand BCU, part # 1175012L1 that had a password entered by the first owner. I am trying to reset it to factory defaults so that I can access the main menu. I have tried powering up while holding in the ACO, connected via serial port and held down ctrl/D, ctrl/F during power up, tried password, PASSWORD, admin, ADMIN, BOSCO, bosco with no luck. Serial connection shows boot up and passes right past the main menu to the login screen. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get into the main menu?

The TA750 BCU cannot be externally factory defaulted. You can use the password of "18364" to get in and then go into the "Provisioning Templates" to apply factory settings.
Hope this helps,
