Adtran sending 404s on inbound sip calls

When placing inbound SIP calls to the Adtran 908e, the unit returns a "404 Not Found " message. The results debugging shows "Request URI indicates a local address, but could not match INVITE to an available trunk". All of the necessary trunks have been configured and appear up. Can you tell  by included config and debug results what might be causing this?

Re: Adtran sending 404s on inbound sip calls

X5asissell,

Thanks for posting!  I would consider upgrading to R10.9.3, or R10.9.4 when it becomes available, as that is our recommended firmware version within that line.  Also, "trunk T01" likely should not be configured under "voice grouped-trunk PRI", particularly with resource selection set to circular.  I would then verify that the D channel is up in the channel status in the output of "show int pri 1".  If none of those items fix or identify the issue, we will likely need to get the following debug commands for a test call, all run at the same time in the same log file.

debug sip stack message

debug sip cldu

debug voice verbose

debug isdn L2-formatted

Thanks,

David

Re: Adtran sending 404s on inbound sip calls

Pull the SIP trunk out of the voice grouped-trunk PRI grouping.  And I'd change its description to be more clear

voice grouped-trunk PRI

description "X5 MetaSwitch SIP" ! <-- Change to description "PRI to PBX"

resource-selection circular

  trunk T03

trunk T01! <- "no" this out.  no trunk T01

!Also get rid of SABR, you don't need it here.

  no permit list SIP

Re: Adtran sending 404s on inbound sip calls

Found the issue outside of the device. Your responses were helpful in troubleshooting the issue. Thanks.
