Can I use Total Access 924e to route Dialogic T1 boards to SIP?

Hi,

I have dialers that use Dialogic boards that connect via T1s to our Telco.  I'd like to move to SIP trunking, but still use those dialogic cards.  Will the Total Access 924e take my dialogic t1's and route them to SIP over the Ethernet ports to our SIP provider?

Thanks!

Richard

Re: Can I use Total Access 924e to route Dialogic T1 boards to SIP?

Yes, that is one of its most common uses. It can accommodate either T-1 robbed-bit CAS or PRI or a mix. The number of DSP resources is limited, so even though there are four T-1 interfaces on a 924e, it can only handle 60 simultaneous calls so figure a maximum of two voice T-1s per device.
