Two B Channel Transfer

Jump to solution

I have a PBX connected to a Total Access 908e and the TA is passing the calls to a SIP Server.

I am try to see if the following scenario will work.

- The PBX dials out and the call is answered

- During the call the PBX initiates another call and uses the TBCT function to connect the two calls.

Now that the PBX is out of the picture; does the Adtran bridge the calls or is it passed on to the SIP Server?

Unified,

Thanks for posting!  Once the transfer has occurred with a REFER on the SIP side of the unit, the PBX and the associated B channels will be released from the call.

Thanks!

David
