Does AOE 23.01 support Cent-OS 8

The centos-release file shows the version as:
Rocky Linux release 8.9 (Green Obsidian)

Does AOE support this version of Linux?

The short answer is "no".  The longer answer is:

Per the AOE Services Management System Release AOE23.01 Release Notes (Document Number: 6AOE2301-40A):

This System Release is intended for use with the following 64-bit operating systems:
• RedHat Enterprise Linux 7.x
• RedHat Enterprise Linux 8.x
• Rocky Linux 8.x
• CentOS 7.x

 

Even the new AOE 24.01 Installation Guide (64150AOE2401-19A) states CentOS7.x only.
