Outpulsing DTMF on call answered on FXS port

Jump to solution

Is it possible, and if it is possible, how do you outpulse the last 4 digits of the ringing phone number to the answered party across an FXS port?  We have multiple DID numbers ringing down an FXS port (actually a group of ports), and want to be able to notify the equipment which phone number was ringing.

  Thanks!

Thanks to Patrick in tech support, here's the answer:  Under the Dial Plan, under the User Term, under the Interface Configuration, set Direct Inward Dialing to "Enabled", and you can tweak the number of Digits sent with the "DID Digits Transferred" - that refers to the least significant digits.

Thanks Patrick!
