. We believe the cable & hyperterm are correct as we can connect to an 908e.
Have Adtran Atlas 550 "installed" and working. PRI to T1 converter. Works fine, out of warranty. Unit is outpulsing the Caller ID from the previous install from several years ago. Need to change the CID to the new installed location. Cannot log in to the unit using the serial cable & hyperterm. Wqe believe the cable & hyperterm are correct as we can log in to an 908e. Cannot get in through the admin console cable either. Don't know the old IP address, if in fact, one was ever assigned to it. What are we doing wrong. Please help??

Re: . We believe the cable & hyperterm are correct as we can connect to an 908e.
If you don't have an ADTRAN adapter that converts the RJ 45 to serial on your PC, you will need to make one. It has a unique pin-out. The pin-out is listed on the QSG below:
Also, here is the manual
Hope that helps.

Re: . We believe the cable & hyperterm are correct as we can connect to an 908e.
Rob:
Reviewed all the information over the weekend.
Is there “ANYWAY” you can ship me the Adtran Adapter with that correct pin-out, just to make sure that I have the correct cable, or give me the part # for that adapter & I’ll try anywhere to get one.
Rob, I’m in dire need of that cable & a disc if you have one. Please respond or have Lori call me, I’ll give you payment for the item(s) , shipping, etc.
Need your help,
Bob

Re: . We believe the cable & hyperterm are correct as we can connect to an 908e.
We resolved this by shipping a DB9-RJ45 adapter to Bob.
Glad we could help you out,
Patrick
