OPTI-3 error message

receiving a "Manual Abnormal (MAN) condition" alarm on the CPE end of a ptp DS3... searched most of the online documentation and can't seem to find an actual description of what this means.... anyone know?

MAN alarm is an Alert that the Working OC3 and/or Protect OC3 is in an Out of Service, Maintenance State, to clear that alarm you would just put the OC3 In Service.

Out Of Service, Maintenance is a Service state used to allow Loopbacks, and inhibit Critical or Major Alarms. Payload Data will still pass when in that state.
