Monitoring the signal from the CPE using the monitor jacks on an HxTU-R

Question:

What is the direction of the signal from the CPE when using the monitor jacks on HxDSL HTUR?

Response:

Applies to HxTUR:

1223424     T200 H4TU-R

1223426     T200 H4TU-R

1223024     T200 H2TU-R

1223026     T200 H2TU-R

1246026     T200 HTU-R

Using a test set with 2 receivers.

  • The TX or T/R is a monitor from the CPE/DCP toward the Network or HxTUC.
  • The RX or T1/R1 is from the local loop or HxTUC/Network.  Local Loop is the copper from the HxTUC to the HxTUR.

The signal is MON Non-Intrusive, do not use a Terminated reading.  The test set can only monitor a REC. signal.
