Access 706/712 via web interface. Username/Password?

I've tried the default as documented User: admin Pass: password, but that didn't work.  Any suggestions?  I've tried lots of obvious ones.  admin/adtran, admin/password, admin/1234, administrator/*

Is the default overwritten by the NetVanta 7100?

Try admin/456. The default is over ridden after it gets config file from 7100.

Yeah, I saw that setting in the IP Phone Globals page.  No luck there either.

Ok if your accessing the ip/admin interface it is admin/password. If doing just the IP address of phone then the login is user/password.

Let me know if that works. The 456 was for the phone menu button password.

I just wanted to clarify a little for others that come across this post:

To access the IP 712 or IP 706 normal phone web interface:

http://<current ip address of phone>

(example: http://10.10.20.7)

Username = user

Password = password

To access the IP 712 or IP 706 admin enabled phone web interface:

http://<current ip address of phone>/admin 

(example: http://10.10.20.7/admin)

Username = admin

Password = password

To get the current IP address of a phone from the screen, go to Menu > 1.Phone Status > 2.Network > Use the down arrow until you see "IP Address".  From a NetVanta 7100, you can also use the output of a show sip user-registration or navigate to Voice > Reports > Phone Registrations in the web interface.
