Hi Everyone,
I am new here and I need some help configuring my Adtran 1534P switch. I currently have ASUS 3200 router and have static assigned IP address in my router for the switch which is the IP address of 200.100.1.16. Since this is layer three switch I would like to use the DHCP service of the switch and use IP address of 200.100.2.0 range in the switch to assign IP address to my devices. I currently have static route in my router to 200.100.2.1 and the Gateway address in my router for this router has 200.100.1.16. Should I configured the default gateway of the switch to 200.100.2.1 for Vlan 1? When I do this with the pool it keeps assigning IP Address from my router instead of the switch. I just need some basic setup information please.
