Objectworld Call Attendant

Jump to solution

I have a customer that is running version 4.2.10.6279. Recently the PC crashed (hard drive) the customer replaced the hard drive. Now the customer is saying that whenever they dial into the voicemail via the DID number (back door) to directly access the system and they log into their mailbox, record a message and send it to other users on the system the message caller ID comes up as unknown. If they log into the system in the office and send a message from their mailbox to another user the caller ID shows the name of that user that sent the message. This is connected to a Avaya IP Office phone system. Any ideas on what could be causing this issue?

After reviewing the case it appears this issue was related to the licencing.  I am going to go ahead and mark this thread as answered.  If there is any additional information you would like to provide that may help others who come across this thread feel free to post a reply.

Thanks,

Matt

I see you opened a ticket for this recently.  That may be the best way to work this issue.  However, if you can recreate the issue and get a copy of the swlog I would be happy to look through it.  It would be best if you can delete the current version of the log right before the test, recreate the issue, copy and paste the swlog file in the same folder, and rename the copy to something else (ex: issue.txt). It would help if you included caller id information and all numbers/extensions involved in the call at the top of the file in a description so we can track things easier. After you have that condensed copy of the log you can submit to our FTP server with the instructions below.

Open Internet Explorer web browser on their PC
Type the following URL:  ftp://ftp.adtran.com

Press the Alt key, click View, and then click Open FTP Site in Windows Explorer

Double-click the "Incoming" folder
Drag and drop files from PC into the Internet Explorer window

Reply to this post with the exact filenames used so we can retrieve the files

Thanks,

Matt
