Cisco Call Manager SIP to Adtran 900

Jump to solution

Have a customer who has purchased a 908 to try to set up 4 digit dialing between a Cisco Call Manager and a Shoretel.

Their plan is to bring the SIP trunks from the Call Manager to the 908 and the PRI from the 908 to the Shoretel.

Any know gotcha's with integrating the Cisco SIP stack to the 908?

That should work without a problem.

If you run into any configuration issues please respond back.

I recommend allowing all voice traffic to flow through the Adtran and have the dial plan rules be handled by the Cisco and Shoretel.

voice grouped-trunk VOIP

  trunk T01

  accept $ cost 0

voice grouped-trunk PRI

  trunk T02

  accept $ cost 0

Thanks.

How many SIP trunks will be required from the Cisco? Will it require 23 SIP trunks if we are doing a full PRI?

If you will be doing a full PRI then yes you will need 23 channels.
