We have a gen3 total access device where one of the FXS ports gives us this random response when calling the number assigned to that port where the PBX will not ring with this error
"Kick ring state dropped: not ringing"
The adtran is connected to an ESI pbx
we are using R13.3.1.E firmware
Any help would be greatly appreciated
We did find one possible solution to this where we grounded the PBX and the adtran to the ground in the MPOE as it was only a few feet away
