Hello,
I am having an issue with a TA924. Our customer has two PRIs one which is specifically designated for long distance and toll calls. The other PRI is for local only and will not accept long distance or local toll calls. I tried found out that the before a long distance calls was being sent out a PRI it was stripping the 1 in front of the number. I verified that my PBX was not stripping the 1 by doing a "debug sip stack message all" command and I verified that the 1 was still in of the number when the Adtran received it. Is there anyone who has an idea of why it is stripping the 1 in front of the outgoing long distance calls?stance

The issue was that the Telco was requesting Network specific facilities which the Adtran does not supply. Calls were hitting the second PRI but were being rejected because the adtran was not passing the Megacomm NSF. We had to install a cisco router for the Long distance PRI.

Re: TA924e Cannot route long distance calls down second PRI.
I don’t see why it would be stripping off the 1.
Please post the output of:
debug sip stack messages
debug isdn l2-formatted
This will show what is coming in on the SIP and going out the PRI.

Re: TA924e Cannot route long distance calls down second PRI.
On the SIP side can you remove the prepended “plus” ?
Otherwise try adding a 1 under the PRI trunk:
match dnis "NXX-NXX-XXXX" substitute "1-NXX-NXX-XXXX"
I wonder if the Adtran automatically takes off the +1

Re: TA924e Cannot route long distance calls down second PRI.
I could not find a place to remove the prepended "plus". If I were to try the second option would that not also send all the local calls out of PRI 2?

Re: TA924e Cannot route long distance calls down second PRI.
Can you prepend a digit or letter if it’s long distance?

Re: TA924e Cannot route long distance calls down second PRI.
Try modifying your ISDN number template to
isdn-number-template 0 prefix "" plan 8 type 2 1-NXX-NXX-XXXX

The issue was that the Telco was requesting Network specific facilities which the Adtran does not supply. Calls were hitting the second PRI but were being rejected because the adtran was not passing the Megacomm NSF. We had to install a cisco router for the Long distance PRI.
