TDM routing between FXS and FXO ports configuration examples

Jump to solution

Hi

Could anyone please provide some AOS ( Adtran 6240 ) configuration examples for setting up TDM routing between FXS and FXO ports ?

We’re setting up a fax machine attached to one of FXS ports on the Netvanta 6240 in order to make  outbound calls from this port using the local FXO port

Thank You

Hello and thanks for posting to our forum.

This is a great guide to follow for FXO and FXS functionality.  It was written for a TA 900 but it will work for a NV 6240.

https://supportforums.adtran.com/docs/DOC-2617

The only difference may be the port numbers used for the FXS/FXO.  Otherwise the config should be identical.  Let us know if you have any questions.

Regards,

Geoff
