904 2nd Gen-outbound caller ID

I ran into an issue the other day with an older PBX, it could not send a BTN or id on an outbound call. My soft switch needs to see an ID to route the call, I worked with the Vendor to cobble something together. My question is will the 904 2nd Gen allow me to set an out bound Id so that every call will show the ID at the soft switch. I read the Doc's on the 904 and set an ID for the .

Re: 904 2nd Gen-outbound caller ID

Hi normrr:

Maybe try one of the following on the trunk that faces the soft switch:

!

voice trunk T01 type sip

  match ani $ add p-asserted-identity 2605551212

match ani $ replace diversion 2605551212

!

Best,

Chris

Re: 904 2nd Gen-outbound caller ID

Looks like it might not be an outbound ANI issue but a setup message issue btween the PBX and the ADTRAN/softswitch. I will pull some logs and maybe ask for more help.

I found this Adtran PDF very useful for adding headers or changing headers from PRI to SIP so the SBC would be satisfied.
