@84mike Honestly last one I did I grabbed a standard RJ45 network cable on accident and it worked just fine, so I would say go ahead and try the straight thru cable instead of the cross over.
I get nothing at all with a straight cable.
Not sure if anyone can make sense of the following;
I turned on "debug isdn verbose", then did a "busy/release" on the trunk group on the PBX side. Here is a small portion of the output (only channel 23):

Thanks David! It was the switch type on the PBX...I have to make some quick changes to test calls, but I have 23 B-channels in service right now. Thanks again!
One more issue to resolve on this...
I have a SIP circuit from the provider in T1 0/1
The PRI to the PBX is T1 0/4
I currently have the timing set to the Provider T1 0/1, but getting CSS on T1 0/4
If I set the timing to internal, I get CSS on both...
Set your Adtran timing to T1 0/1 since it is from the carrier, then just make sure the PBX has it's timing source set to "line" which should pull timing from T1 0/4.
What version of AOS are you running? There have been several reported issues of CSS errors on multiple versions of AOS 5.X and I have seen at least 1 claim on R10. In all cases though they say the problem goes away with 4 7 code.
